Throwing a little shade on Twitter goes a long way, especially when you decide to do it during one of the most anticipated pop culture events of the year. Destiny’s Child reunited during the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night for their first show in about eight years, and while fans were raving about it Keyshia Cole had something less-than-flattering to say about Michelle Williams, which really irritated some people. As someone who certainly came of age under the regime of Destiny’s Child (the original) it was very sad to see the members go through their “Supremes” moment. Recalling how this was the newest successful female group of young women to hit the scene since the days of TLC who also had their part in music world domination. DC did their thing and to split over the very things that you worked so hard to achieve had to be a bitter irony. (more…)
