Last year music producer Dr. Dre made $14 million dollar, this year he’s $309 million richer after selling 51% of his Dre Beats to HTC for $309. The deal was recently announced. The Taiwan-based smartphone maker will acquire 51 percent of the company, which Dre co-founded with Interscope Geffen A&M Records CEO Jimmy Iovine in 2006. Keep reading:

Interscope rapper 50 Cent will not be releasing his upcoming LP Black Magic, but will work on other artists projects because of ongoing issues with his label. Last night Tuesday (July 26) 50 took to his official Twitter account @50Cent to blast his label.
