This Fall Jay-Z’s protégé and Roc Nation rapper J. Cole will be releasing his highly anticipated debut album, entitled Cold World: The Sideline Story. A day after performing on the first date of his “Cold World” tour in Vancouver, HHW’s writer Don Bleek phoned Cole for a quick conversation. During the interview, Cole shared some of his wildest tour moments, discussed his first time meeting Jay-Z, branding himself, the importance of mixtapes and his debut album. The disc has collaborations with Jay-Z, Drake, Missy Elliott and Trey Songz.

This Sunday (August 21), New York’s radio station Power 105.1 is having a Power Live Concert at Governors Island-South Island Field in New York. The incredible line-up will feature performances by Fabolous, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean, Meek Mill, J. Cole, Estelle, Wale and Ace Hood. This is an event that you don’t want to be left out on. This past Thursday, New York’s rapper Fabolous and Roc Nation recording artist J.Cole performed at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC for the CUNY Hunter concert. The show was sold out; jammed pack wall-to-wall. As the cheerful college students waited in line to enter the ballroom, they started screaming “We want Fabolous and J. Cole.”
