After years of feuding with each other, the Harlem Diplomats ended their feud and got back together. Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Freekey Zekey and Juelz Santana released a song titled “Salute” and it was rumored that the duo was signing to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label. Since then, fans have been wondering when will the Harlemites release their reunion album. They are still working on putting out a reunion album, as well as working on their solo obligations. Back in April, pictures hit the net of Harlem’s rappers Jim Jones and Juelz Santana in the studio with Waka Flocka; recording some dope music. Everyone started to wonder when will the track be out. A month later, they dropped a new track titled “848.” Over this past weekend, New York’s DJ Self premiered the track on Power 105. Listen to the record below:
Last month, we reported that rapper Jim Jones was arrested for driving with a suspended license, after police stopped him for driving his Bentley in a bus lane on Broadway. According to reports, the rapper turned down a plea deal yesterday in hopes of getting the misdemeanor offenses down to a simple violation. Jones could be heading to trial. If he’s convicted of the offense, he faces up to 30 days in jail.
Last night Friday (April 22) Diddy performed at the Hammerstein Ballroom for his Diddy’s Dirty Money “Coming Home” tour. When it comes to New York, Diddy runs the city. Diddy putted on a star-studded show. During his set, he and Junior Mafia member Lil Cease did a tribute performance to Biggie Smalls. Yesterday Monday (April 19) Jim Jones and Lady H (1st female of Jim Jones’ Byrd Gang Records) were spotted exiting JFK Airport in New York City. They were coming from California. Over this past weekend, Jim Jones and Lady H were in San Diego and Los Angles doing shows and promoting Jones’ new album. Lady H is featured on Jones’ track “Getting To The Money” Ft.
