The numbers are in and just as many projected, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The collaborative disc moved a total of 436,079 copies in the first week. 320,893 (digital) 115,186 (CD). This marks Kanye West’s fifth #1 album and Jay-Z’s 12th. Ace Hood made the top 10. Blood, Sweat & Tears debuted at #10, with 25,000 copies sold.

A new track from Pusha T Ft. Kanye West and Young Jeezy, titled “Amen” was recently released. The track was produced by Shawty Redd and is off Pusha’s upcoming EP Fear Of God Part 2: Let Us Pray. Jay-Z and his protege Kanye West, also known as The Throne made history last week. Their collaborative LP Watch The Throne broke the U.S. iTunes Store’s one-week sales record last week when it sold 288,000 downloads through Sunday night (Aug. 14). The album is now available at select retailers. This week, Watch the Throne will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with around the 400,000-500,000 sold.

In less than a week, Jay-Z and Kanye West will be releasing their highly anticipated collaborative album, titled Watch The Throne. Yesterday Monday (August 1), Hova and Yeezy held a private listening session at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. According to iTunes, Brooklyn’s music mogul Jay-Z and rapper/producer Kanye West will be releasing their highly anticipated collaborative album, titled Watch The Throne on August 8. Kanye also produced the second single “Otis,” which Jay-Z and Yeezy rhymes about their royal lifestyles. “I got 5 passports I’m never going to jail,” brags Jay-Z, while Yeezy proclaims, “I made Jesus walk so I’m never going to hell.” The song samples Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness.” Peep the tour dates below:
