Damon Dash Teams With Marc Ecko To Host Fundraiser For Kevin Powell’s Bid For Congress
Hip Hop journalist and historian Kevin Powell has decided to run against Brooklyn congressman Ed Towns for his seat in the House of Representatives, and Hip Hop moguls Damon Dash and Marc Ecko have announced they will support Powell’s bid for Congress by hosting a fundraiser to help the journalist raise funds for his campaign.
