YMCMB recording artist Lil Wayne recently earned his sixth #1 song this year and he is the first artist to earn six #1′s on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop radio airplay chart in one calendar year. Young Money Entertainment President Mack Maine recently revealed that platinum-selling international rap star Lil Wayne is in the studio working on tracks for a sequel to his rock album, entitled Rebirth and a follow-up to 2010′s I Am Not a Human Being LP, in a sit-down interview with MTV. “He’s, like, 12 songs in, and he went crazy. He went left. He’s in Martian land right now,” Said Mack Maine of I Am Not a Human Being 2.

For over the past five years, Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana has been working on a collaborative album, entitled I Can’t Feel My Face. There were a few false dates as to when the album was scheduled to hit shelves. Last week, Young Money rapper Mack Maine said in an interview that Weezy is still working on the LP with Santana. In a recent interview with Vibe magazine, Juelz confirmed the album, “It’s something that Me and Wayne been working on —a project that we been promoting the name.” says Juelz Santana.

In a recent interview with VIBE, J.Cole revealed that Jay-Z wasn’t originally going to be on the song, but after the MTV VMAs, Jay hopped on the track. Jay came through on “Mr. Nice Watch,” calm and cool as ever. Weezy did it again! Platinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne’s latest CD Tha Carter IV sold over one-million copies in the first week. This marks Lil Wayne’s second consecutive Hip-Hop album to reach over a million in the first week. Tha Carter 3 also sold over one-million copies in the first week. Weezy’s is also the second rapper after Eminem to hit platinum twice in the first week.

YMCMB rapper Lil Wayne performed live at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Maryland Heights, Missouri on August 21st and at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri on August 22nd, for his “I Am Music 2″ tour. The New Orleans native will be releasing his forthcoming LP Tha Carter IV on August 29. The standard edition has a total of 15 tracks including the lead single “6 Foot 7 Foot” Ft. Today, Tuesday (October 11), Platinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne took to his official Twitter account @LilTuneChi and responded to Uncle Luke’s negative words about him and Diddy. Weezy also mentioned that he’s not feeling DJ Khaled at the moment.
