Platinum-selling rapper Nas is still promoting his new album, Life Is Good. This past Tuesday (July 24), Nasty Nas returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live (Outdoor stage) to perform “The Don” and “Nasty”. Backed by the band Z and DJ Green Lantern on the 1′s and 2′s, Nasty Nas gave a great performance. Life Is Good currently sits at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Read more below:

The 2012 ESPY Awards was held last night Wednesday (July 11), in Los Angeles. Nas and Swizz Beatz walked the red carpet in snakeskin Reebok. On July 17, Queens Hip-Hop legend Nas will be releasing his tenth studio album, entitled Life Is Good. Minutes ago, the official artwork for the disc was released. On the cover, Nasty Nas is sitting on a black sofa wearing a white blazer, dress pants, tee-shirt and brown shoes. The interested part about the album cover is that Nas’ ex-wife Kelis’ green wedding dress is sitting on his lap. In a short video clip, Nas explains the concept behind the artwork. When he and Kelis went through their messy divorce, she left the house and took everything but her wedding dress. Nas’ singles “The Don” and “Daughters” are in heavy rotation on urban radio stations across the country. Sounds like the album going be dope!
Today, MTV and VEVO premiered Nas’ new visual “The Don”, which serves as the second single off the Queens native 10th studio LP, entitled Life Is Good, which arrives in stores on July 17th. The album will feature productions from Salaam Remi, Hit-Boy, Swizz Beatz, and more. Watch below:

The platinum-selling Hip-Hop legend recently released his new single “The Don.” The Salaam Remi produced and co-produced by Heavy D track serves as the second single off Nas’ 11th solo LP, Life Is Good. On the track, Nas took it back to the 90′s fashion, by rapping about army jackets, “Army Jacket swag Army jacket green and black Wit the square top pocket that snaps.” He also names upscale designer clothes and cars such as Roberto Cavalli, Benz and Bentley in the song. Back in January, it was announced that music artist Swizz Beatz was working on a new mixtape. RapFix caught up with Swizzy recently, he revealed that Rick Ross, Nas, DMX , The Lox and A$AP Rocky will all be featured on his mixtape. “When the Rick Ross mixtape Rich Forever came out that inspired me to do a mixtape because sometimes people need to get back into the element of what you do, since they see you doing so many different ventures,” said Swizz Beatz, confirming that, “My first single is with me and A$AP Rocky.”
Young Money’s recording artist Tyga will be releasing his forthcoming LP, entitled Careless World: Rise Of The Last King on February 21. The disc has collaborations with Nas, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, J. Cole, Robin Thicke and others. In an interview with XXL mag, Tyga said that it took a while but he got a verse featuring Nas on the album. The track is called “Kings and Queens” that also features Wale.
