When the nominees for the 2011 BET Awards were announced this Tuesday on a special edition of 106 & Park, the world was watching. #BETAwards became a trending topic on Twitter, but not all the tweets were celebratory. One artist in particular, Miami rapper Trina, whose 2010 album Amazin’ spawned two hit singles, clearly felt snubbed that she was not included among the nominees for the Best Female Hip Hop category.
