Last year, rapper Wiz Khalifa announced that his sophomore album is entitled, O.N.I.F.C., leaving us to wonder what’s the meaning behind the title. Khalifa revealed that the acronym stands for Only N***a In First Class, during an interview on Shade 45’s Sway in the Morning radio show (via MTV News). The title was inspired by Prodigy of Mobb Deep 2000 debut solo album Head N***a in Charge. “It’s inspired by Prodigy’s H.N.I.C.,” said Khalifa. “When he dropped that, I felt like that sounded so strong,” added Khalifa.

New Video: Wiz Khalifa Ft. Juicy J & Lola Monroe “Oh Gee La”
Atlantic/Rostrum rapper Wiz Khalifa linked up with his Taylor Gang artists (Lola Monroe and Juicy J) for a new track, entitled “Oh Gee La.” The song is a remake of the Fugees classic “Fu-Gee-La” and was filmed in the studio. The trio had plenty of weed, liquor and cash in the studio, while recording the track. Khalifa signed Monroe and Juicy to his Taylor Gang Records last year. Peep the video below:

The film is set in a L.A. high school. Over this weekend, Rostrum Records rapper Wiz Khalifa held a Ustream session to chat with some of his fans, he answered some of their questions and played some music. During the session, the Pittsburgh native announced his sophomore album title O.N.I.F.C. (without explaining further what the acronym means). This will be the follow-up to Khalifa’s debut LP Rolling Papers, which debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 197,000 copies. As of now, the disc has sold over 600,000 copies worldwide.

Wiz Khalifa Already Working On His 2nd Album, Plus He Will Appear On Taylor Gang’s Chevy Woods’ “Cookout” Mixtape
Back in March, rapper Wiz Khalifa released his gold-selling LP, entitled Rolling Papers. The disc debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 197,000 copies in the first week. The Pittsburgh native is already working on his new album. “Yeah, I’ve started working on a next album just to get a feel for where I’m going with it,” Wiz told MTV News on the BMI Urban Awards red carpet last month. Khalifa also announced that “No Sleep” is the fourth single off the album.
