Last night Wednesday (August 8), news broke that rapper Young Jeezy has been named Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records. Radio DJ, DJ Greg Street made the announcement on his V103 radio show in ATL. It is also being reported that Jeezy will remain a solo artist on prominent Hip-Hop label Def Jam.

Jeezy Had A Meeting In The Chi: Is Rising Chicago Rapper Chief Keef Signing To CTE?
There’s a bidding war! In the past, rising Chicago rapper Chief Keef confirmed that Atlantic Records, Birdman’s Cash Money and Jeezy’s CTE are all interested in signing him. Keef flew to NYC to meet with Atlantic recently, he had a meeting set up with Birdman and yesterday Sunday (June 10), Jeezy stopped in the Chi to meet with Keef. No word on what the meeting was about or if Keef officially signed to Jeezy’s label or not. Stay tuned to HHW for all updates.

Partying In Atlanta: Future Celebrates His Album Release Party With T.I., Jeezy, Gucci Mane & More
Last night Tuesday (April 17), Epic recording artist Future held his album release party at Esso Nighclub in Atlanta. His set featured a live performance, where he performed cuts off his new album, entitled Pluto. He also surprised the crowd by bringing out Big Boi, Young Jeezy, T.I. and Gucci Mane to help him perform their collabs. Music executive L.A. Reid, DJ Drama and Kenny Burns partied it up with Future as well. Pluto in stores and iTunes now. Peep the pictures and video below:

Bringing Atlanta Back: T.I. & Young Jeezy Collaboration Album In The Works?
The King of the South also known as T.I. mentioned in a recent interview with L.A.’s radio station Power 106 (via LA Leakers), that there is a possibility collaboration album with him and his ATLien Young Jeezy, who released his latest album Thug Motivation 103: Hustlaz Ambition, last month. Thug Motivation: Young Jeezy Talks Working With Jill Scott, Andre 3000 & Jay-Z; TM103 Projected To Sell 200-225K
For the past few weeks, Young Jeezy been busy promoting his new album Thug Motivation 103: Hustlaz Ambition. While doing some press in New York City, Vibe caught up with Jeezy for a brief conversation. Jeezy talked about working with Jill Scott, Andre 3000 and Jay-Z. According to Hits Daily Double, TM103 is projected to sell between 200-225K in the first week, based on one-day reports from retailers.

Shots Fired! Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group Takes Shots At Young Jeezy Via Twitter
Platinum-selling rapper Young Jeezy new album Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition is scheduled to hit stores September 20. Jeezy made the announced at his 6th year anniversary concert for his debut LP Thug Motivation 101, back in July at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. As of press, there is still no official album cover or tracklisting. It’s rumored that the disc was pushed back. Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group recently took to their official Twitter account @MaybachMusicGrp and fired some shots that were aimed directly at Young Jeezy.
